A relatively new trend in digital effects is using footage tracking and digital touchup software to smooth skin and improve the overall look of an actor's face. This has also been used to add age and scars for some feature films. In this spot for Real Cedar decking was an opportunity to add a little touchup to the actress's face; the strong sun on the shoot day added a little unwanted shadow.
