I bought three pieces of stock footage, two with lemons and one with oranges. Unfortunately, the flavours of the Tempo Gin Smash also include strawberry, mint and grapefruit... and no orange to be found! I used 3D software to build and animate other fruits and the mint leaves to the existing footage. In some cases, just a little colour correction was required to turn an orange into a grapefruit slice. In other cases, I tracked the fruit slice and completely covered it with a grapefruit texture. To complete the illusion, I added particle animation bubbles over the added fruit slices to help integrate them into the scene.
